Robert Booth Reserve Master Plan

We’re preparing a master plan for Robert Booth Reserve, located in Somerville Road, Hampton Park.

Last year we asked you to tell us more about how you use Robert Booth Reserve, and what improvements you think would get the community using it more. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey, phoned and provided written responses – we have compiled all of the feedback we received and have used it to prepare a draft master plan.

The Draft Robert Booth Reserve Master Plan has been developed to make the reserve better for the future and keep pace with the changing needs of the local community.

The key projects for Robert Booth Reserve:

  • Improved pedestrian entrances and pathways into and throughout the reserve.
  • Creation of a new playground, barbecue and picnic area.
  • Creation of a new tennis centre at an alternative site in Hampton Park.
  • New competition netball courts with lighting. One half court will have multipurpose activities.
  • Future refurbishment and extension of the sporting pavilion.
  • New car parking.
  • New fire brigade training area/combined car parking.

Now that the Draft Robert Booth Reserve Master Plan has been developed, we want to check in with you again to see if we got it right and if you have any final thoughts.

  1. Tell us your final thoughts about the Draft Master Plan in the comment box below.
