Doveton Pool in the Park Master Plan

The City of Casey is developing a Master Plan for the Doveton Pool in the Park (DPIP) site, and we want your feedback!

Council oversees more than 70 open space reserves as well as 10 leisure facilities, and we want to ensure that each and every one of these is catering to the needs of our community.

We are developing this Master Plan to identify the needs in the Doveton area and ensure the site is fit for purpose.

This is your opportunity to have your say and influence potential upgrades and improvements to the site by informing Council about what might be lacking, and what could be improved.

This is an opportunity for Council to receive feedback on what services are in demand and identify gaps that exist within the Doveton community that could be addressed through this site.

Once the feedback has been collated, Council will develop a Draft Concept Plan based on the comments provided, and then showcase this to the community.

A Doveton Pool in the Park Master Plan and Concept Plan will eventually be adopted and presented to the community.

What we need to understand:

  • What types of aquatic, recreational and community programs are needed within or near the DPIP site?
  • What types of facilities are needed within an aquatic and leisure facility?
  • What would support year-round use of the DPIP site?
  • How to celebrate the local identity and the DPIP site’s culture and history?

Ways to have your say:

  • Meet with Council - Autumn Place Community Hub
    • 10 Oct 2019 (10:30am - 11:30am)
    • 17 Oct 2019 (10:30am - 11:30am)
  • Complete the survey here.
  • Design your site.

Consultation closes Friday 25 October 2019.
