City of Casey is committed to creating a more sustainable future and through our Composting in Casey project, we aim to reduce household waste.

As part of this project we provided 200 households with a free compost bin, compost aerator and kitchen scraps bucket for use at home.

There will be useful links and documents for participants to find out more and surveys to help us understand how your compost is the best it can be.

Discuss your composting with other residents in the Forum - answer questions, learn more and generally improve your composting skills and knowledge.

If you want to suggest a question for us to ask in the forum, or post a relevant picture for everyone to see, you will need to email these to wasteadmin@casey.vic.gov.au and put Casey Conversations in the subject heading.

    The guide is finished, and there is an electronic version now on this site. All participants receiving a free compost bin will also receive a copy of the guide. Residents not involved in the session wanting a copy can call City of Casey on 9705 5200 and get one sent out, or pick one up from our customer service centres soon.
