Cell N Development Plan, Narre Warren North

Consultation has concluded

What is Cell N and where is the current review located?

The Cell N Development Plan area is located in Narre Warren North, bounded by Narre Warren North Road to the west, Robinson Road to the north and east, property boundaries and two municipal reserves to the south and part of Ernst Wanke Road to the south-west.

Why is the Cell N Development Plan being reviewed?

The City of Casey has reviewed a request to amend the Cell N Development Plan to change the minimum lot size provisions in a select area within the Development Plan from 2000sqm to 1000sqm parcels of land. The land which will be affected is located around Robinson Road and Kostic Boulevard. Council Officers support the reduction of minimum lot sizes from 2000m2 to 1000m2 in a revised Development Plan as it meets the objectives of the Casey Housing Strategy and the Casey Planning Scheme and provides benefits in terms of open space, community infrastructure, and housing diversity.

What does the review of the Cell N Development Plan involve?

The City of Casey amended the Cell N Development Plan under Development Plan Overlay 2 of the Casey Planning Scheme. The Development Plan has been amended to change the minimum subdivision size from 2000m2 to 1000m2 for the land at 2-10 Kostic Boulevard, 21-27 Robinsons Road, and 31-35 Robinson Road, Narre Warren North. Council Officers also considered community infrastructure contributions for the area in light of increased density in the area.
