Want better train services in Casey?

Consultation has concluded

To make rail travel more attractive the City of Casey is requesting that the State Government provides funding commitments to:

  • increase train services along the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines for both peak hour and off-peak services.
  • duplicate and extend the Cranbourne line, with stations at Cranbourne East and Clyde.
  • constructing a road underpass at the railway line at Aylmer Road, Lynbrook.

Cranbourne East and Clyde are significant growth areas within Casey and it is imperative that community infrastructure is in place ahead of thousands of new families moving in and before car travel patterns become established.
