Consultation on Council's corporate planning documents (closed)

Over the past year, we've been hitting the streets to find out what you want for the future of Casey.

We asked over 3,600 people what was important to them and what their vision for the future of Casey was through Casey Next in 2016.

Earlier this year, Council's first ever People's Panel was formed to recommend how Council can address its long-term financial challenges.

We even asked you what your budget priorities were and to have a go at allocating a $159 million Council budget.

Using all of this information, we have developed:

  • a Vision and Plan (2017-21) that delivers on our residents’ priorities today, tomorrow and beyond

  • an Annual Action Plan 2017-18 that sets out how we will work towards strategic objectives in the first year of the Council Plan 2017-18

  • the Council Budget 2017-18 and Strategic Resource Plan 2017-21

  • the Long Term Financial Plan 2017-2027

  • the Rating and Revenue Strategy

  • the Fees and Charges 2017-18.

What do you think?

At the Special Council Meeting on 9 May 2017, these documents were formally adopted by Council as drafts.

They will now be on exhibition for four weeks (until 9 June, 2017) so that you can provide feedback by making a formal submission below.

Got a question?

If you're unsure about something, check out the Frequently Asked Questions, or submit a question below. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
